Products

If after purchase you decide the materials are not for you, I'll refund your money no questions asked.

To get your refund, simply email me within seven days of purchase with your PayPal receipt and ask for a refund.

In turn, you agree to delete the material from your computer and cloud storage.

Short Projects

For short projects, like resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles, I have different policies depending on the stage of work.

If work has not begun, then I'll return 50% of your payment. When you pay me, I reserve time in my calendar for your project. When you cancel, that's billable time I can't schedule.

If work has begun, then there are no refunds. I've already put billable time into the project.

This is especially true if I have given you the first draft for review. I do not give refunds after I give you a draft for any reason. Drafts are usable documents. If you are not satisfied with your draft, I include one revision, if needed and other, smaller edits for up to 30 days as long as they are within the scope of the original project. If you want to target a different position or employer, then that is another project.

Note: If you want to target a different position or employer, then that is another project for which I will charge an hourly fee for targeted revisions.

Longer Projects

For longer projects, like web pages and business emails, if you cancel before work has begun, I refund your down payment of 35% to 50% as a cancellation fee, depending on our agreement.

When you pay me, I reserve time in my calendar for your project. When you cancel, that's billable time I can't schedule.

If you cancel the project midway for any reason, then the cancellation fee will be the second payment or the total due for the project, depending on the scope and the date of cancellation. See your agreement for details.

Coaching

Coaching Refunds

If we have not met for any coaching sessions yet, you can cancel coaching for a full refund.

I do not offer refunds on sessions already held.

If you have chosen a package and feel complete with fewer sessions, except in special circumstances, I will encourage you to continue, so you complete your goals and don't leave when the going gets tough.

However, if you still wish to discontinue our sessions together, then your refund will be calculated as follows:

Original Package Fee – Package Discount – Sessions used  = Refund

Missed Coaching Sessions

You can cancel a session and reschedule if you allow at least 24-hours' notice. If you don't show up, you forfeit the session at my discretion, unless you've had a true emergency.

If you cancel a session twice, then the next time you cancel a session, you'll forfeit the session. The reason is that I reserve a special time for you weekly or bi-weekly. When you cancel, I can't schedule anyone else into that slot, and it's lost money for me.

On the other hand, if you have a vacation or other event coming up, give me at least two weeks notice, and we can make special arrangements. This allows me time to schedule new clients or marketing events.
